Rare or localised

This species occurs in a restricted region of East Gippsland and the coastal alpine region of NSW. An attractive species with smooth white-grey to pink bark peeling in strips. The tree has a straight clean trunk and a well rounded canopy. An identification plaque is located at the base of this tree. A few other examples of the species occur north along the road to Bendoc.
This tree is located on Gap Road between Bonang and Bendoc at the sign 100m south of Gunmark Road, Bonang.
