Outstanding size
A remarkable old tree that has developed a large trunk bole and multiple stems. The species is confined to the Howe Ranges where it occurs along tributaries of Harrison Creek. Populations are widespread along the creek edges in isolated stands. The species forms numerous basal watershoots which develop into large stems when the original tree collapses. The species is listed as vulnerable in Victoria.
The tree is located on the second sharp bend on the east side of the creek, 40+ minutes walk along Harrison Creek to the south, off Black Hole Road, Croajingalong National Park.
