This tree is the largest example of the species surveyed (1993) with a very large trunk and outstanding height. The main rounded canopy is 34m high with another 14m section above. The tree is a landmark along Reeves Road and great care should be taken during any future roadworks. The tree contains small cavities and broken limbs but is in good condition.
The tree is located 0.7 km along Reeves Road from the Buchan-Orbost Road turnoff, Orbost.
