Statement of Significance

A scenic coastline which is indented and consists of a series of small embayments separated by bold headlands, with 200 ft. high cliffs.

The coast is composed of Mesozoic sandstones with occasional coal seams. There are small sandy pocket beaches midway along this coastline, but further east the valleys have been truncated and shore platforms extend seaward from the base of the cliffs.

Access is through private property, hence visitor pressure is restricted.
