Statement of Significance

The area is reasonably unimpaired. Beaches are rocky and shallow with many rocky platforms at low tide. There are fine stands of trees on the foreshore. Development has not been intensive. This is a classic area in that roads lead down to the foreshore and except for developed areas roads are not near the foreshore. Mostly agricultural - rolling pastures and distant seascapes.
