Statement of Significance

Subdued sand dunes crossed by permanent stream-line. Indigenous vegetation units form an interesting mosaic of types which have been largely removed from the region. These include woodland with Austral Grass-tree and heathy understorey, wet heath and scrubs and a fern gully community. Diversity of vegetation provides a wide range of habitat for birds, mammals and reptiles.
