Location or Context: Historic Garden or Park. A species rare in cultivation in Victoria, this tree is by far the best example. Other know examples occur as a seedling 3 metres high north of the house and a stunted tree south of the Nursery in Eastern Park, Geelong. The tree has multiple leaders and in the past year has set a very heavy crop of cones. The tree is native to Mexico, Arizona and California and produces edible seeds. The garden at Wombat Park was identified in Peter Watts 1980 study at being of State significance. The tree is located on driveway towards house, near the tennis court Measurements: 27/09/1988
