Statement of Significance

This simple detailed symmetrical block of three two-storey rendered brick shops with residences over was erected in 1872/73 for Michael Jackman. In 1876 some alterations were carried out by George Jobbins, including a verandah linking the three shop fronts, but this has unfortunately been demolished.
