Statement of Significance

Designed by Andrew Kerr and built for J Bromfield, chemist in 1875 the first floor facade and the roof line of No 76 have been defaced. No 78 housed the first established chemist's business in Warrnambool.
Part of the ground floor original shop fronts with attractive moulded panels remain and all three shops still have an elegant pavement verandah.
