The former Tungamah Court House, built in 1889-90 to a design by W.F. Cazaly and G.W. Watson, is architecturally and historically significant at a local level as one of a small group of picturesque court houses in northern Victoria built in bichromatic brick with a parapeted gable interrupted by piers. The building has played an important role in the legal and social history of the area.
