Statement of Significance

A four-bay Gothic church by Crouch & Wilson of 1869-70 of bluestone with contrasting freestone quoins and detailing. The facade includes a four-light window with tower and spire to the south-west covered in slate. The bellcast profile of the spire and the horizontal panel of the belfry level, here containing three quatrefoil openings, are characteristic of the architects.
