A bluestone Gothic church erected in 1861 to the design of Nathaniel Billing, with the addition of transepts and vestibule in 1908 and spire in 1936. Hawkesbury River Freestone is used for the dressings, including the tracery of the four-light window in the main facade, alternate voussoirs of the side windows (giving a banded effect) and the label stops of these windows which have remained to the present as uncarved blocks. The tower, to the north-west, has an elongated belfry stage and is capped by a broach spire. The stained glass by Ballantyne & Co. of Edinburgh, is of particular interest.
