Statement of Significance

A square brick bell-tower built in 1888 for the Maryborough Volunteer Fire Brigade, with a most unusual timber superstructure. Foundation stone laid on 2nd April 1888 by Thomas Casey, Captain of the Maryborough Volunteer Fire Brigade.
