Statement of Significance
Built between 1864 and 1867 for Alfred Joyce, this home planned by Leonard Terry, features a good example of the gothic revival style. There are 21 rooms: and the carved basalt includes a castellated balcony with crest, mullion windows and ornamental accent of quoins. Near the homestead is the weir built by Alfred Joyce.
