Statement of Significance

One of the finest mid-Victorian Gothic houses in Australia by virtue of its beautifully carved decorated Gothic barge boards and finial, verandah valence, brackets and pilaster supports, all completed before 1864. With some interior details of note including decorative finger plates and gilded metal pelmet.
