Statement of Significance

File note 11/01/2013: Walhalla Railway Station was re-instated as the terminus of the Walhalla Goldfields Railway in 2002. Currently in use as a tourist railway. Remaining artefacts of original narrow guage railway include Tunnel over Stringers Creek (former station site) and Locomotive Inspection Pit.
