A church of 1854 in coursed bluestone rubble with rendered facade and light Gothic detailing, designed by George Wharton, with an arcaded entrance porch and pinnacled buttresses added in 1858, designed by Crouch & Wilson. Inside is an unusual iron balcony and an organ built in 1888 by George Fincham, as well as fine wood panelling and decorative stencilled wall and ceiling patterns of 1900, which are of great architectural importance, being largely intact.

A two-manual organ of 14 stops built in 1888 by George Fincham and retaining its original action and two-tower case, incorporating diapered pipes. The instrument remains substantially intact, apart from the removal of one rank of pipework and is of particular interest for its attractive setting in an apse gallery having a ceiling stencilled with moons and stars.
