Statement of Significance

A privately owned purpose-built but government subsidised Common School surviving from before the 1872 Education Act. Known 1873-77 as Grosvenor State School No 811. Built 1862, in brick and bluestone with a slate roof.
Internal alterations are excluded from the Classification.
