Statement of Significance

Built in 1880 for William Thomson a local baker, these five brick houses form an attractive symmetrical group with small front gardens and cast iron verandah trim. No. 7, the middle house which is two storey, is flanked by Nos. 3, 5 & 9 which are single storey.
This group complements a similar group of houses, Nos. 6 - 14 which forms the symmetrical approach to the Town Hall.
