Statement of Significance

A pair of semi-detached two-storey houses of 1888 designed by T J Crouch; forming a symmetrical unit, with twin towers in elaborate polychrome brickwork and ornamental ironwork on verandah and balcony. One was occupied 1889-1924 by the Reverend Dr John Mathew, Mininster of Coburg Presbyterian Church. 1961 extensions at rear excluded
