Statement of Significance

A Tudor gatehouse built about the turn of the century for James Grice's "Moondah", in imitation of the main entrance to Parramatta National Park; relating well to other Tudor designs in the area, and a rare example for Victoria of a gatehouse which spans the entrance way.
