Statement of Significance

Lightstation Group consisting of 70ft. stone tower (1859) standing prominently in open grounds whilst associated buildings nestle into the surrounding scrub. The assistant keepers' quarters and cottage (c.1859) are both built in stone. The head keepers' and relief keepers' quarters of later construction and contrasting materials are excluded from the classification.
