A pleasant parish church, built of unusually small quarry faced ashlar blocks of bluestone, with rendered dressings to doors, windows and buttresses.
The nave, without aisles, was completed and consecrated in 1967, part of an overall design by Leonard Terry. It is not clear whether the additions of the chancel and vestry in 1880, or the porch (1890) and chapel (1918), were actually carried out to the original master plan. However, they have been carried out with sympathy in matching materials and do not detract from the whole.
The east and west stained glass windows are good examples of late Victorian work and the whole fabric is in good condition.
