Statement of Significance

A distinctive bluestone church of 1864 to 1875 designed, but for the liturgical west front, by W W Wardell, and executed by Leonard Terry. It is asymmetrical, with a south aisle only and includes a plate traceried rose window at the west end and impressive east window of five lancets.
