Statement of Significance

A bluestone church of 1855 designed by Charles Laing, making it one of the older intact churches in Victoria and one of the few surviving works of the Architect. It is unusual for its naive combination of castellation, late Mediaeval rectangular windows, and Italianate low-pitched roof.
