Statement of Significance

A brick church built in 1878 to the design of Reed & Barnes and exhibiting a mysterious discontinuity between the two bays at the entrance end and the body of the church. Though of little architectural significance the building is of historical interest because it became the first Lebanese Catholic Church in Victoria in 1958.
