Statement of Significance

An Italianate styled two story brick house (brickwork painted white) with slate roof. Verandah (possibly a later addition) cast iron lace work with unusual bressumer in timber. Later additions at the rear. Interior completely remodelled. Occupied by Phillip Kitchen, soap manufacturer from late 1870s until 1890s.
