Statement of Significance

A two-storeyed town house of 1888 deriving some distinction from the stuccoed arcading of the verandah and balcony, surmounted by a pleasant parapet treatment brought out to the street alignment rather than on the carcase of the building. The squat and sharply tapering pilasters of the upper level are of particular interest.
