Statement of Significance

A group of seven two-storey brick houses built in 1874 by the owner, H S Blackman, with a very plain roof parapet and with a minimum of ornamentation to the party walls, doors and windows. The first floor verandah has an ornate cast iron railing, and the ground floor has a simple railing at pavement level.
