Statement of Significance

A pair of three storied terrace houses of 1868-69.The verandah and balcony on No 406 have been removed: that remaining on No 408 has an arcaded effect on the ground floor and unusually fine iron work on the balcony at first floor level. The iron fencing and gates are included in the classification.
