The Tooradin Public Hall (former Mechanics' Institute and Free Library), constructed in 1938, and the Monterey Cypress Hedge at Tooradin Station Road, Tooradin.

The Tooradin Public Hall is of local historic, social and aesthetic significance to the City of Casey.

Why is it significant?
Historically and socially, the Tooradin Public Hall is significant as a long-term public meeting place and its construction the result of considerable community effort. (AHC criteria A4, D2 and G1)

Aesthetically, the Tooradin Public Hall is significant as an intact interwar public building, which is a local landmark within Tooradin. The Monterey Cypress Hedge provides a related landscape setting. (AHC criterion E1)
