Why is it significant?
Of historic significance for its strong associations with Iddo 'Snowy' Munro, who was an Australian champion cyclist and one of the first Australians to compete in the Tour De France. Munro also established the successful Embassy Taxi company which continues to operate today. (AHC criterion H.1)

Of aesthetic significance as a relatively intact and distinctive example of a large Edwardian villa, which retains its original garage and front fence. The brick, render and wrought iron fence, featuring brick pillars with pebble caps, is notable as an unusual and well-designed example of its type. (AHC criterion E.1)
