The c1939 stone house and the site to a radius of 30 metres.
The house is historically and technically significant to the Shire of Nillumbik.
The house is historically significant because it was built and occupied by Danila Vassilief, the well-known artist and teacher at the local Koornong Experimental School (Criterion H). The house is technically significant because it is constructed of the local mudstone (Criteria F & E).
