STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE

The Boot room at the Barwon Heads Jetties I the Barwon Heads Park 7-71 Ewing Blyth Drive is aesthetically significant at the LOCAL level. It demonstrates original qualities of the Late Victorian Vernacular style which includes the gable roof form, horizontal weatherboard wall cladding, fixed timber framed nine-light window on the western gable, and decorative moulded timber windows architrave. Other intact qualities include the beaded timber door with the timber frame and the exposed timber rafters under the eaves.

The Boot Room at the Barwon Heads Jetties in the Barwon Heads Park, 7-71 Ewing Blyth Drive is historically significant at a REGIONAL level. It is associated with the revolution of maritime activities on the township of Barwon Heads since the 1890's.
