STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE

The Geelong West Free Kindergarten is a substantial timber building designed by Geelong's eminent architectural firm, Buchan Laird and Buchan, and added to in a similar transitional style. It is of Local significance.

Timber shingles in the gable tympanums would greatly enhance the character of this building as would a more appropriate fence.
