Height: 17.5m
Canopy spread: 17.0m
Canopy spread: 15.5m
How is it significant?
The tree is significant for its aesthetic value (curious growth form or unusual physical features) at the State level.

Why is it significant?
The unusual form of the specimen and contribution it makes to the landscape is significant at the State level.

The unconstrained conditions of the planting site have provided opportunity for the tree to develop a spreading canopy, especially in the lower section of the crown. This is highly unusual in the species, as specimens usually exhibit a columnar shape.
The tree also has a greater trunk diameter than typically seen in landscape specimens of the same approximate age.

We have a good estimate of the planting date also, and so the tree can also be considered significant for historic and aesthetic reasons at the Regional level.
