This Yellow Box is one of the largest of its species found to date with a trunk circumference of more than 7 metres. It is scientifically significant for being one of the two trees with the largest circumference and having the largest canopy spread on the Register. The tree is also socially significant for its contribution to the landscape being a remnant tree in a rural setting providing shelter, shade and habitat.
