This large Eucalyptus dalrympleana (Mountain white gum) is
located on the roadside of Mountain Road, Cockatoo and is a large and
impressive specimen, with other smaller specimen close by.
How is it significant?
This Eucalyptus dalrympleana (Mountain white gum) is
significant for scientific and social reasons at Regional level.
Why is it significant?
This Eucalyptus dalrympleana (Mountain white gum) makes a
significant contribution to the surrounding landscape as a large
specimen on the roadside. It is outstanding for its size, at a height
of 37.8m, canopy spread of 15m and circumference of 6.25m. This is
comparable to the other example of Mountain white gum on the register
at Bonang in East Gippsland (T11033).
