Statement of Significance

Built of cement rendered brick in 1882 for the Trustees of the Richmond Free Dispensary by Architect J. A. Koch. Symetrically styled in the contemporary mode of restrained classicism, the dispensary operated on the philanthropic English model of free medicals ervice and medicine for the poor. Later became the Richmond Community Health Centre.Classified Regional 13/03/1975
Demolished by October 1982.
