Statement of Significance
The former stables at 14 Sorrett Avenue are historically and architecturally significant at a local level. The building is very rare example of its type and is built to a higher architectural standard than other more typically utilitarian stables of comparable size. The stables at 14 Sorrett Avenue are presently graded B. The current assessment finds that the building demonstrates significance at an A2 level.
