Statement of Significance

Three-storey pair of shops with central entrance to upper floor built 1853, owned 1865-75 by J F Strachan, used for offices, lodge meetings etc. Facade in Barrabool Freestone with classic detail rendered on ground floor and in entrance lobby rear and sides in roughly-coursed bluestone.
