The house at 4 Alma Street, St Arnaud is historically and architecturally significant at a CONTRIBUTORY level. It is associated with residential developments in St Arnaud in the early 20th century and demonstrates some important design qualities. These qualities include the single hipped roof form extending over the return verandah, galvanised corrugated iron roof cladding, and the timber framed windows.
