The Uniting Church building, 14 Newall Street, Marnoo, although relocated to the site, makes a contribution to the predominantly single storey, horizontal weatherboard streetscape of galvanised corrugated iron pitched roof buildings.

The Uniting Church building, 14 Newall Street, is architecturally significant at a LOCAL level. Although altered, it demonstrates original design qualities of a restrained mid 20th century Gothic style. These qualities include the shallow pitched gable roof form, together with stepped, wider gable roofs at the rear and a steeper pitched porch gable at the side. Other intact or appropriate qualities include the galvanised corrugated iron roof cladding, single storey height, wide eaves, tripled lighted timber framed pointed windows with decorative leadlighting, series of side timber framed double hung windows, and the double timber and glazed door opening under the rear side porch. The garden setting also contributes to the significance of the place.
