Statement of Significance

The Holy Trinity Church, built in 1855 and rebuilt 1884 is a typical early English Gothic style parish church of the first years of settlement in Victoria. It was built originally to the design of early Victorian architect Charles Vickers. The vicarage, a picturesque Gothic attic house built in 1855, was possibly also the work of the architect Charles Vickers and is the oldest known continously occupied vicarage in Victoria.
