This tree, located below the Hopetoun Lawn,is a dominant specimen in the Botanic Gardens' landscape and occupies a prominent position in the Government House viewline.The tree has an almost perfect conical form and compact crown and is thought to be a remnant of the 'pinetum' established by Mueller. Also known as Callitris glaucophylla (White Cypress Pine).
