A fine example of a species rare in cultivation in Victoria. The only other known example occurs at Glen Rannoch, Mt Macedon.The tree has a branched upper crown but still makes an important contribution to the landscape. It is a valuable addition to the Conifer collection at Alton.
The tree is located west of cottage.
