An outstanding example of the species which is rare in cultivation in Victoria. This tree is the only known example, although two trees are reported to be growing at Frogmore Homestead, the site of Whites Nursery, Geelong. This tree is particularly attractive with its dense bluish foliage and glaucous fruits which change to dark blue on maturity. A native of southern Europe and North Africa, the tree has a well-shaped narrow crown.
