These trees are rare trees in cultivation and were originally planted either side of a Joss House. The age of the trees would be approximately 120 years (1983) and they were planted by Chinese settlers during the gold rush period.
Citrus maxima(Pomelo) is a crisp citrus fruit native to South and S-E Asia and is often eaten during the mid-autumn festival or mooncake festival.
