Outstanding example of species Contribution to the landscape
A very large specimen of a species not commonly cultivated. The tree has a well-structured crown and makes a dominant contribution to the courtyard area. The landscape design at Aradale is considered to have been influenced by Hugh Linaker who was appointed landscape gardener to the Lunacy Department in 1912. The tree is located east of the entrance in main courtyard.
