The graceful Polyscias sambucifolia, commonly known as Elderberry Panax is found in forested coastal to sub-alpine regions in New South Wales, Victoria, the Australian Capital Territory and Queensland This is a stand of unusual, mature Elderberry Panax which rarely reach this size. These trees form the understorey of a stand of Eucalypts.
